Raid Farm (Totems & Emeralds)
Totems of Undying, emeralds, redstone, iron, saddles
A raid starts when a player carrying Bad Omen (gained by killing a raid captain, the one with the banner on its head) walks into a village, triggering waves of pillagers, vindicators, evokers, and sometimes ravagers targeting the village center. A raid farm fakes that center somewhere far from any real village, so the fight happens on your terms instead of tearing apart an actual settlement.
Faking the center only takes one villager and a bell. The game checks for those two things within a valid radius to decide a location can host a raid, so most raid farms bring out exactly one caged villager to an isolated platform rather than building a whole village.
Ring the bell while carrying Bad Omen and the raid starts, with each wave pathing directly toward the bell and villager. The platform is shaped to funnel that path through a narrow corridor with a fall or a kill zone, so mobs arrive one at a time in your weapon range instead of spreading out across the platform.
Evokers are always the priority kill. They're dangerous at range with summoned vexes and fang attacks that are awkward to dodge in a tight corridor, and they're the only source of totems of undying, which are otherwise one of the rarest items in the game outside trading. Ravagers on later waves are also worth killing directly since a raid farm is one of the few renewable saddle sources.
Finishing a raid resets your Bad Omen back to zero, so running this repeatedly means either killing a fresh captain each time or, in some setups, deliberately keeping one alive nearby to re-kill. Most people just farm captains as a side effect of running into pillager patrols during normal play.

We haven't filmed our own walkthrough for this one yet. Until we do, here's a live search for current video tutorials.

- 1 villager with a bell (trigger/reset raids)
- 1 boat (transport the villager)
- ~8 stacks building blocks (platforms + kill chamber)
- water buckets (funneling)
- 3–6 hoppers + 2 chests
- 1 Bad Omen source (kill a raid captain)
- strong armor + weapon (evokers/vindicators hit hard)
Away from any village, in an open flat area so mobs funnel predictably.
