About CraftFinder

CraftFinder is a free, fan-made search tool that makes it easy to look up how to craft anything in Minecraft. Search any of the 887 craftable items from Minecraft 26.1 and instantly see the exact crafting grid layout, the ingredients you need, step-by-step instructions, and what each item can be used to make.

How to use it

Start typing an item name in the search box on the home page, for example “diamond pickaxe” or “bookshelf”. Pick a result to open its recipe page, where you'll see the crafting grid exactly as it appears in the game, a breakdown of the ingredients and how many of each you need, and a list of other items you can craft using it.

Where the data comes from

Recipe and item data is sourced from the open-source minecraft-data project and reflects Minecraft Java Edition 26.1. Item icons are the in-game inventory sprites, used for reference and identification.

Feedback & corrections

CraftFinder is an independent hobby project. Because recipe data comes from the open-source minecraft-data project, if you spot a recipe that looks wrong, reporting it there is the most reliable way to get it fixed. Corrections flow through to this site automatically. You can also send us feedback directly.
