Gold Farm (Zombified Piglin, Nether)
Gold nuggets/ingots, rotten flesh, swords, XP, bartering, powered rails, armor
Zombified piglins will spawn on magma blocks regardless of light level, which is the entire reason every gold farm design starts with a magma block ceiling. It sidesteps the usual darkness requirement other Nether mobs need.
Height is the lever nobody talks about enough. Build near the top of the world in the Nether, out in open air with nothing around, and the spawn rate climbs noticeably compared to a platform built at a normal altitude. It's not subtle either. The difference is worth the extra ladder climb.
Standard layout: magma-block roof up top, a slab-lined shaft below it (slabs stop other hostiles from spawning in the funnel), a fall that leaves piglins at a sliver of health, then a one-hit kill with a Looting III sword. Some builds swap the fall for a soul sand bubble column that lifts piglins to you instead, which is nicer if you'd rather stand still and click than watch a drop shaft.
Bring Fire Resistance. You'll be up near the build limit placing blocks and running redstone, and one bad knockback near lava at that height ends the session. This isn't optional gear, it's part of the build process.
Run it for an hour with a Looting sword and you'll come away with hundreds of gold nuggets (nine make an ingot), a pile of rotten flesh, and the odd golden sword. That gold is what feeds piglin bartering back near the portal, which is honestly one of the best ender pearl and obsidian sources in the game if you'd rather not fight endermen for them.

We haven't filmed our own walkthrough for this one yet. Until we do, here's a live search for current video tutorials.
